I run Tulip Precision Machining in Indianapolis: CNC turning with live tooling for aerospace overflow and hard-to-cut materials. I also design and program my own tools, electronics and mechanical devices.
About
I am a 5-axis aerospace CNC machinist and live-tooling lathe machinist, and I program in Fusion 360. I started on Haas mills and 5-axis machines, currently teaching CNC machining at Ivy Tech Indianapolis, and now run my own shop built around a Haas ST20Y live-tooling lathe.
I take on aerospace overflow and jobs in challenging materials where the programming and process matter as much as the machine. Outside the shop I build electronics and mechanical devices, and write software tools to make machining faster and less error-prone.
